Sulfenamides are synthesised from reaction between amines and N-(benzenesulfenil)-phthalimide or benzenesulfenyl chloride.The sulfenamides undergo reaction with tributyltin hydride to yield aminyl radicals which can be cyclised onto suitable alkenes.
