Novel bicyclic and isomeric analogues of the cytotoxic sesquiterpine illudin M were prepared using 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions. Nearly every analogue investigated demonstrated low μM IC₅₀ values when tested in a panel of four human tumor cell lines.
