Diastereomeric dipeptides (S)-Leu-(S)-M4CPG and (S)-Leu-(R)-M4CPG have been synthesized from (±)-M4CPG and separated by anion exchange chromatography. Absolute configuration of (S)-(+)-M4CPG was assigned by X-Ray crystallography of (S)-Leu-(S)-M4CPG.
