Regioselective carbon-carbon bond formation by radical reaction at the β-position of β-alkoxyacrylate was applied to a synthesis of 2,5-disubstituted tetrahydrofuran, 2,6-disubstituted tetrahydropyran, 2,7-disubstituted oxepane derivatives.
