The preparation of novel (η³-Allyl)Fe(CO)₂(NO) complexes with planar chirality has been achieved via separation of the diastereomeric complexes having chiral amide and ester groups as auxiliaries. X-ray analysis and CD spectra revealed the structural assignment of the complexes thus obtained.
