Herein we describe the total synthesis of (±) Neorautane 1. (±) Neorautanin 2 and their analogs 15-18. The key intermediates Chromens 10-13 were synthesised by microwave irradiation of propargyl phenyl ethers 8 and 9 in DMF under pressure.
