1-Fluormethyl-6-oxatetracyclo[6.3.0.02,11.04,8]undec-9-ene (3k)
Following the general procedure, 33.0 mg (183 µmol) of fluoro compound 5k were irradiated in
4 mL cyclohexane. After purification by column chromatography, 16.4 mg (91 µmol, 50%) of the
photocycloaddition product 3k was isolated. TLC (nꢀpentane/ether = 9/1): Rf = 0.31 [KMnO4]. IR
