Pseudotubulosines, structural analogues of emetine and tubulosine, have been synthesized by either Pictet-Spengler or Bischler-Napieralski condensation from dihydrocorynantheal or corynantheidal.Spectral data, cytotoxic and oncostatic properties of these new alakloids are described.
