A new synthetic method for N-mono- and N,N-disubstituted selenoamides

N-Mono and N,N-disubstituted selenoamides are synthesized in a one-pot procedure from nitriles, selenium metal and NaBH₄ followed by the amine group exchange of the intermediate primary selenoamide with an amine.
