Preparation and properties of the diamagnetic planar complexes trans-CPd(X)(PEt3)2)2> (X=Cl, Br, I, NCS) and trans-CPd(X)(PEt3)2)2>(ClO4)2 (X=PEt3, pyridine) are described.The structures of the compounds have been determined by 31P and 1H NMR spectroscopy.The IR spectra are discussed.
