The reaction of iminium salts of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimido<1,2-a>indole-10-carbaldehydes with sodium hydrosulfide, amines, and nitroalkanes leads to the formation of the corresponding thioaldehydes, azomethines, and nitrovinyl derivatives, existing predo
