The reaction of 4-aryl-1,2,4-triazolium-phenacylides with heterocumulenes is discussed using orbital theory.The theoretical data are verified by experiment.The ylide carbanion acts as a nucleophilic reagent on heterocumulene giving disubstitued carbanion triazolium-ylides 3-6.
