From Leucanthemopsis pulverulenta (Compositae) ten new sesquiterpenic acids have been isolated.Their structures and absolute stereochemistry were assigned by spectral and chemical evidence; they are the first carboxylic acid members of the cadinane and munrolane series to be found in a natural source.
