Low-valent titanium induced one pot syntheses of imidazolidines

Under the action of a low-valent titanium reagent, imidazolidine derivatives were synthesized from imines and triethyl orthoformate in moderate yields. NMR spectroscopy was used to assign the configuration of the products.
