MnBr12Por performs better than MnPor, leading to higher
product yields, higher selectivity toward the main product, and
lower degree of catalyst destruction. Nevertheless, additives
favor the activity of the second-generation catalyst to a larger
extent as compared to the third-generation catalyst; the
exception is the MnBr12Por/PhI(OAc)2 system in the oxidation
of cyclohexane, which affords the highest product yields (66%)
among the evaluated systems.
