limits the feasibility for routine application. Given the dem-
onstrated relevance of F-CEs in fish oil, our methods along
with the alternatives just mentioned may be used for the
determination of F-acids in the steryl ester fraction of other
sample matrices such as plant oils (olive oil, soybean oil)
that contain different phytosteryl esters.
