Stereoselective hydrolyses of chiral substrates were examined in poly(ethylenimine) derivatives with optically active groups.A high stereoselective effect, k_L/k_D = 3.6, is observed.The effect of the substrate structure influenced both the rate constant and the stereoselective ratio in the hydrolyses by poly(ethylenimine) derivatives.
