The transformation of methanol at 25, 200 and 400 deg C over a hydrogen form of zeolite T (88percent decationization, 6percent dealumination) has been investigated.The conversion of methanol into C2-C4 hydrocarbons is reported.The combination of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy with temperature-programmed desorption of adsorbed species has been applied and a network of reactions is proposed.
