From the seeds of trifolium alexandrinum, two new oleanene-type triterpene glycosides were isolated as their methyl esters, together with five known saponins.The structures of the isolated compounds were determined by NMR and mass spectral analyses.Keywords: trifolium alexandrinum; leguminosae; oleanene saponins; bersimosides I, II and dehydroazukisaponin V methyl esters.
