(1R,2S)- and (1S,2R)-Acetoxycycloalkanedimethanols 1-6 of high enantiomeric purities were prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis and esterification respectively in presence of lipase from porcine pancreas (PPL) and Pseudomonas sp (SAM-II).
