Reaction conditions: aldehyde (1 mmol), 4-acetoxy-3-penten-2-one (5 a, R¹=R²=R³=Me) (3 mmol), and PPL (100 mg) in tert-butyl alcohol/ 5 % H₂O v/v (2 mL) for 72 h at 20 °C, 200 rpm.
