In conclusion, our studies illustrate the electrochemical deposi-
tion and chemisorption of iodide film on different electrodes like
GCE and poly GE. The properties of the iodide film for different
deposition methods at two different types of electrode surfaces were
examined. Further, the electrochemical activities of the proposed
electrodes in different pH solutions have been examined. The pro-
posed iodide modified electrodes have shown their maximum elec-

cal analytical utility of the proposed electrodes have been examined
for Cr and As ͑III͒ detection in tap water and mineral water, and the
results were found satisfactory. Moreover, the preparation of iodide
film is very easy and eco-friendly for the determination of environ-
mentally hazardous materials. Finally, the important conclusion
from this study was an easy reproduction of the iodide film from KI
solution for different types of electrodes, economically cheaper than
other types of modified electrodes. Further, the effect of interaction
of nanoparticles with iodide film is part of our ongoing work.
