heterogeneous oxo/imido heterometathesis catalyst based on a
fully characterized well-defined silica-supported Ti imido
complex. This catalyst outperforms all the other previously
reported Mo, V, and Ta systems, as demonstrated for the
synthesis of imines. Further studies of the catalytic
transformations mediated by the supported group 4 transition
metal imido complexes are on the way in our laboratories.
