a Voc of 1.04 V of, and a FF of 0.6, which is the highest efficiency of
CH3NH3PbI3ÀxClx fabricated via a solution process containing a
mesoporous TiO2 layer based on our knowledge. This is much
higher than 4.8% for the device fabricated via a spin-coating process.
This work suggests a promising way for the solution-based prepara-
tion of the mixed halide perovskite of CH3NH3PbI3ÀxClx for highly
efficient solar cells.
This study was partly financially supported by the National
Natural Science Foundation of China (10934001, 61177020,

Basic Research Program of China (2013CB328700). The authors
are thankful to Mr Xiao Yu and Prof. Dechun Zou in the College
of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Peking University
for their kind help with the measurements of SEM images.
