Novel type tin enolate is easily formed by the regioselective ring cleavage of diketene with Bis(tributyltin) oxide <(n-Bu3Sn)2O>.The enolate caused carbon-carbon bond formation with aldehydes.As a result, α,β-unsaturated methyl ketones were obtained in good yields, accompanied by decarboxylation.
