A new 12a-hydroxyrotenoid, 9-methoxyirispurinol, and a new isoflavone glucoside, tectorigenin 4'-glucoside, together with tectoridin, tectorigenin, 5,7-dihydroxy-6,2'-dimethoxyisoflavone and alipinone were isolated from the rhizomes of Iris crocea.The structures of known and new compounds were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods.
