In conclusion, we have reported the design, synthesis, and
properties of a ratiometric fluorescent probe for biothinols
detection. The probe exhibited high selectivity towards biothinols
than other non-thiol-bearing amino acids and common anions. It
was successfully applied for the GSH bioimaging in living cells.
