• Uses: Calcium L-lactate pentahydrate has been used for in vitro maturation (IVM) of horse oocytes. It has also been used as a supplement for medium TCM-199. L-Calcium Lactate Hydrate is an analog of Lactic Acid Calcium Salt (L113495), which is used in foods as an ingredient in baking powder. Lactic Acid Calcium Salt is also used as an antacid and also to treat calcium deficiencies.
