Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 14001-39-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,4,0,0 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 14001-39:
(7*1)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*1)+(2*3)+(1*9)=49
49 % 10 = 9
So 14001-39-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Photoredox/Cobalt Dual-Catalyzed Decarboxylative Elimination of Carboxylic Acids: Development and Mechanistic Insight

Cartwright, Kaitie C.,Joseph, Ebbin,Comadoll, Chelsea G.,Tunge, Jon A.

, p. 12454 - 12471 (2020/09/09)

Recently, dual-catalytic strategies towards the decarboxylative elimination of carboxylic acids have gained attention. Our lab previously reported a photoredox/cobaloxime dual catalytic method that allows the synthesis of enamides and enecarbamates directly from N-acyl amino acids and avoids the use of any stoichiometric reagents. Further development, detailed herein, has improved upon this transformation's utility and further experimentation has provided new insights into the reaction mechanism. These new developments and insights are anticipated to aid in the expansion of photoredox/cobalt dual-catalytic systems.

Highly Enantioselective Synthesis of Propargyl Amide with Vicinal Stereocenters through Ir-Catalyzed Hydroalkynylation

Li, Bi-Jie,Zhang, Su-Lei,Zhang, Wen-Wen

supporting information, p. 6874 - 6880 (2020/03/19)

Chiral propargyl amines are valuable synthetic intermediates for the preparation of biologically active compounds and functionalized amines. Catalytic methods to access propargyl amines containing vicinal stereocenters with high diastereoselectivity are particularly rare. We report an unprecedented strategy for the synthesis of enantioenriched propargyl amines with two stereogenic centres. An iridium complex, ligated by a phosphoramidite ligand, catalyzes the hydroalkynylation of β,β-disubstituted enamides to afford propargyl amides in a highly regio-, diastereo-, and enantioselective fashion. Stereodivergent synthesis of all four possible stereoisomers was achieved using this strategy.

Decarboxylative Elimination of N-Acyl Amino Acids via Photoredox/Cobalt Dual Catalysis

Cartwright, Kaitie C.,Tunge, Jon A.

, p. 11801 - 11806 (2018/12/11)

A dual-catalytic strategy for the synthesis of enamides and enecarbamates directly from easily accessible and inexpensive amino acids has been realized. This mild and efficient protocol makes use of an organic photoredox catalyst and a cobaloxime catalyst to achieve decarboxylative elimination using hydrogen evolution to drive the oxidation. Thus, the reaction occurs without a stoichiometric oxidant or the forcing conditions previously employed in attempts to achieve similar eliminations.

METHOD FOR PREPARING ENAMIDE COMPOUND AND RUTHENIUM COMPLEX CATALYST USED THEREIN

-

Paragraph 0092; 0093, (2017/10/27)

Provided is a method for preparing an enamide compound, which includes reacting an organic azide compound having α-hydrogen and an anhydride by addition of a ruthenium complex catalyst in the presence of an ionic liquid, and a ruthenium complex catalyst u

Synthesis of Enamides by Ruthenium-Catalyzed Reaction of Alkyl Azides with Acid Anhydrides in Ionic Liquid

Pak, Han Kyu,Han, Junghoon,Jeon, Mina,Kim, Yongjin,Kwon, Yearang,Park, Jin Yong,Rhee, Young Ho,Park, Jaiwook

, p. 4030 - 4034 (2015/12/26)

Enamides were synthesized by a ruthenium-catalyzed one-pot, one-step procedure from alkyl azides and acid anhydrides. The substrate scope includes not only secondary azides, but also primary aliphatic ones to give a wide range of enamides containing vario

Platinum-catalyzed amidocarbonylation

Sagae, Takahiro,Sugiura, Masaharu,Hagio, Hiroyuki,Kobayashi, Shu

, p. 160 - 161 (2007/10/03)

The first example of platinum-catalyzed amidocarbonylation of aldehydes with amides and carbon monoxide is described. In contrast to precedent palladium catalysis, a remarkable ligand acceleration by phosphines was observed. Furthermore, an optically active N-acetyl amino acid was partially epimerized under the platinum-catalyzed conditions, while faster racemization was observed under the palladium catalysis.

The Regiochemistry of the Radical Addition of N-Chloroamides to Enol Ethers

Caron, Gilles,Lessard, Jean

, p. 8039 - 8058 (2007/10/02)

The orientation of the radical addition of N-chloroamides (ZCONHCl) to enol ethers was studied as a function of Z and the enol ether structure and compared with the orientation of radical addition of thioacetic acid and the orientation of typical electrop
