Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 15102-28-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,1,0 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15102-28:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*2)+(2*2)+(1*8)=60
60 % 10 = 0
So 15102-28-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A radical anti-Markovnikov addition of alkyl nitriles to simple alkenes via selective sp3 C-H bond functionalization

Li, Zejiang,Xiao, Yingxia,Liu, Zhong-Quan

, p. 9969 - 9971 (2015)

An efficient hydrocyanoalkylation of unactivated alkenes with alkyl nitriles was developed. Through this free-radical-initiated selective activation of the α-C(sp3)-H bond of acetonitriles, an anti-Markovnikov addition of an α-cyano C-centered radical to olefins has been achieved, which allows a facile and convenient access to functionalized nitriles in large scales.

Unmasking Amides: Ruthenium-Catalyzed Protodecarbonylation of N-Substituted Phthalimide Derivatives

Yuan, Yu-Chao,Kamaraj, Raghu,Bruneau, Christian,Labasque, Thierry,Roisnel, Thierry,Gramage-Doria, Rafael

supporting information, p. 6404 - 6407 (2017/12/08)

The unprecedented transformation of a wide range of synthetically appealing phthalimides into amides in a single-step operation has been achieved in high yields and short reaction times using a ruthenium catalyst. Mechanistic studies revealed a unique, homogeneous pathway involving five-membered ring opening and CO2 release with water being the source of protons.

Deboronative cyanation of potassium alkyltrifluoroborates: Via photoredox catalysis

Dai, Jian-Jun,Zhang, Wen-Man,Shu, Yong-Jin,Sun, Yu-Yang,Xu, Jun,Feng, Yi-Si,Xu, Hua-Jian

, p. 6793 - 6796 (2016/06/01)

A photoredox catalytic method was developed for the direct cyanation of alkyltrifluoroborates. This reaction provides a new and useful transformation of the easily available alkyltrifluoroborates. The photocatalytic reaction can tolerate a variety of functional groups with mild reaction conditions. Mechanistic investigations are consistent with the present reaction following a radical pathway.

Potassium Hydroxide-Catalyzed Chemoselective Reduction of Cyclic Imides with Hydrosilanes: Synthesis of ω-Hydroxylactams and Lactams

Ding, Guangni,Li, Chengjun,Shen, Yifan,Lu, Bin,Zhang, Zhaoguo,Xie, Xiaomin

supporting information, p. 1241 - 1250 (2016/04/26)

Potassium hydroxide-catalyzed hydrosilylation exhibits excellent activity and chemoselectivity for the reduction of cyclic imides under mild reaction conditions. The chemoselectivity of the reduction system may be readily tuned by changing the identity an

Direct Synthesis of Nitriles from Aldehydes Using an O-Benzoyl Hydroxylamine (BHA) as the Nitrogen Source

An, Xiao-De,Yu, Shouyun

supporting information, p. 5064 - 5067 (2015/11/03)

The direct synthesis of nitriles from commercially available or easily prepared aldehydes has been achieved. O-(4-CF3-benzoyl)-hydroxylamine (CF3-BHA) was utilized as the nitrogen source to generate O-acyl oximes in situ with aldehydes, which can be converted to a nitrile with the assistance of a Bronsted acid. Several aliphatic, aromatic, and α,β-unsaturated nitriles that contain different functional groups were prepared in high yields (up to 94% yield). This method has notable advantages, such as simple and mild conditions, high yields, and good functional group tolerance.

Radical cyanation of alkyl iodides with diethylphosphoryl cyanide

Chang, Ho Cho,Jin, Young Lee,Kim, Sunggak

experimental part, p. 81 - 84 (2009/05/30)

The β-elimination of an organophosphoryl group from an iminyl radical is observed for the first time. On the basis of this finding, radical cyanation of alkyl iodides is achieved by using diethylphosphoryl cyanide. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.

Radical cyanocarbonylation using alkyl allyl sulfone precursors

Kim, Sangmo,Cho, Chang Ho,Kim, Sunggak,Uenoyama, Yoshitaka,Ryu, Ilhyong

, p. 3160 - 3162 (2007/10/03)

Acyl cyanides have been prepared by the three-component coupling reactions comprised of alkyl allyl sulfones, carbon monoxide, and p-tolylsulfonyl cyanide under tin-free radical reaction conditions. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.

Tin-free radical cyanation of alkyl iodides and alkyl phenyl tellurides

Kim, Sunggak,Song, Hyun-Ji

, p. 2110 - 2112 (2007/10/03)

As a result of much faster phenyl telluride group transfer relative to the corresponding iodine atom transfer, tin-free radical cyanation of alkyl phenyl tellurides has been achieved with p-toluenesufonyl cyanide and methyl allyl sulfone in the presence of V-40 as initiator.
