N-Methylisonicotinamide is a methyl derivative of Isonicotinamide (I821700); a compound that strongly induced apoptosis in human acute myelomonocytic leukemia cells, HL-60. N-Methylisonicotinamide is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of the alkaloid eupolauramine.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6843-37-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,8,4 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6843-37:
(6*6)+(5*8)+(4*4)+(3*3)+(2*3)+(1*7)=114
114 % 10 = 4
So 6843-37-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
