The reaction of 1-acyloxy-2-propenyltrimethylsilane (1) with α, β-unsaturated ketones in the presence of tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride has been investigated. In all cases the reaction was regiospecific resulting in the conjugate addition of a 1-acyloxy-2-propenyl function.
