N-[Chloro(dimethyl)silyl]methyl-N,N′-diphenylurea: Synthesis and structure

N-[Chloro(dimethyl)silyl]methyl-N,N′-diphenylurea with intramolecular coordination bond C=O→Si was prepared by interaction of N,N′-diphenylurea with silane ClCH2SiMe2Cl. Structure of this compound was confirmed by 1H, 13C, 29Si NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis.
