The radical copolymerizations of p-cresyl acrylate, p-chlorophenyl acrylate, p-bromophenyl acrylate and m-nitrophenyl acrylate with methyl methacrylate have been studied. The reactivity ratios for these systems have been determined for copolymerization at 60° in benzene; they were calculated by the linear method of Kelen and Tüdös. Parameters Q and e for phenyl acrylates have been determined.
