The reaction of 7-fluoro and 7-chloronorbornadiene with different diazoalkanes was studied in order to determine the respective influence of these halogens on the steric course of the cycloadditions. The endo attack is predominant with small diszocompounds even with fluorine as the C 7 halogen.
