FENCAMFAMIN hydrochloride was developed by E. Merck in Darmstadt, West Germany. Klebelsberg (1) reported improvements in muscular activity and anti-stress action with this drug, while Ziegler (2) observed increases of vitality in elderly patients. Holliday et al. (3) have noted an antifatigue action. In the present report we have evaluated the effects of fencamfamin HCl in EEG patterns, especially in regard to the EEG arousal reaction in rabbits.
