Summary1.New compounds were prepared by reaction of chloromethylacetate with alkaline salts of xanthic, O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric and diethyldithiocarbamic acids. The structure of the compounds obtained was confirmed by IR and PMR spectroscopy.2.Acetoxymethyl esters of xanthic, diethyldithiocarbamic, O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acids were examined as antiwear lubricating oil additives. O,O-Dialkyldithiophosphoric acid esters show satisfactory antiwear properties and considerably surpass alkyl esters of corresponding acids in this respect.3.Acetoxymethylene esters of dialkyldithiophosphoric acids considerably surpass the well-known antiwear properties of the additive, LZ-23k.
