A quality analysis of the graphitizing ferro silicon barium inoculants, made by two fundamentally different technological processes had done. The investigation conducted using electron-microscopic and X-ray spectrum analysis. A criteria of inoculants efficiency estimated by its graphitizing capacity or chilltest bleaching value at mass/temperature registering was offered to production quality characterization.It was shown the possibility of qualitative identification phase composition and inoculants parties superficial macro analysisand their correlation with quality, which main criteria is efficiency(graphitizing power), defining by chill test bleaching value. It were given a specific recommendations to inoculants use depending on quality requirement.
