The preparation of (i) fluorooxalatogermanates, M2[GeF2(C2O4)2]·xH2O, where M = Na and K, and x = 5.5 and 1.5, (ii) fluorooxalatostannates, K2[SnF2(C2O4)2] · 3H2O and K2[SnF4(C2O4)] · 6.5H2O, K2[Sn2F2(C2O4)6] · 2H2O, K6[Sn2F4(C2O4)5] · 2H2O, and (iii) hexafluorostannates, (BH)2[SnF6] ·xH2O, where B = guanidine, 2-aminopyridine and 1/2 biguanide and x = 1, 0 and 0, and [Co(NH3)6]2[SnF6]3 and [Co(en)3]2[SnF6]3·9H2O are described. TG and IR data for the compounds are reported and discussed.
