An oxygen containing tetrathiapentalene (TTP) derivative with ethylthio chains, C2TEO-TTP has been synthesized. The charge-transfer complexes show two types of crystal forms and conducting behavior. (C2TEO-TTP)2X (X=PF6 and AsF6) have β-type structure and metallic conductivity down to liquid helium temperatures, and (C2TEO-TTP)2Au(CN)2 has dimeric donor arrangement and its temperature dependence of conductivity undergoes a hysteric process.
