Synthesis, Characterization Studies ofPolypyrrole/Strontium titanate (cas 12060-59-2) (Nano Ceramic) Composites

Polymer Nano-composites were prepared by chemical oxidation method using strontium titanatenano powder in presence of ammonium persulphateas an oxidizing agent. The Polypyrrole/ strontium titanatenano composite were synthesized with various compositions i.e.10,20,30,40 and 50 weight percent of strontium titanate in Polypyrrole. The surface morphologies of thenano ceramic composites were analysed using Scanning Electron Microscopy which discovered the embedment of strontium titanate particles in Polypyrrole chain. The Fourier transform Infrared Spectroscopy indicates that the stretching frequencies were shifted towards the higher frequency scale. The X-ray diffraction pattern ascertained the crystalline behaviour of SrTiO3. The A.C conductivity results are discussed in this paper.
