Room temperature X-band electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra of manganese (II) doped single crystals of barium chloride dihydrate have been studied. Manganese(II) dopings ranging from 0.03 to 28.5 mol % were examined. The calculated line broadening as a function of manganese(II) concentration is in good agreement with experiment. At high manganese(II) concentrations the extent of clustering could be assessed.
