BackgroundAngiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor–induced angioedema (ACEI-AE) is mediated by bradykinin. There remains an unmet treatment need because these patients, when presenting to the emergency department (ED), do not respond to conventional therapies, such as antihistamines and corticosteroids.
