The synthesis of some disperse dyes from 3-amino-5-nitro[2,1]benzisothiazole and using as coupling components the alkyl esters of N-benzyl-N-phenyl -β-alanine containing different meta or para substituents in the benzyl ring is described. IR, 1H-NMR and visible spectra of the dyes are examined and some fastness properties of the dyes also determined.
