Trisodium salts of (2,6‐diiodo‐4‐sulfo‐phenylazo) ‐ 1 ‐ amino ‐ 8 ‐ naphthol ‐ 2, 4‐disulfonic acid and of (2, 6‐diiodo‐4‐carboxy‐phenylazo) ‐ 1 ‐ amino ‐ 8 ‐ naphthol ‐ 2, 4‐disulfonic acid have been prepared.
