ZusammenfassungAus den Samen von Holocalyx balansae Mich. wurde durch Chromatographie an Kieselgel Holocalin, ein neues cyanogenes Glykosid, isoliert. Holocalin wird durch Emulsin in Glucose, Cyanwasserstoff und m-Hydroxybenzaldehyd gespalten. Laut optischem Drehwert repräsentiert es das Diastercomere von Zierin.
