1.1. Phosphorylcholine accumulates in the dermis and basal cells of skin in the absence of glucose.2.2. Phosphorylcholine does not accumulate in brain tissue in the absence of glucose as it does in skin.3.3. Respiration in both skin and brain is increased in the presence of 2,4-dinitrophenol in the presence of glucose.
