Excess molar volumes, VEm, were measured as a function of mole fraction at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure for the seven mixtures (chloro- or methylcyclohexane + ethanol or propan-1-ol or propan-2-ol and chlorocyclohexane + methanol). The results are compared with VEm values for cyclohexane + alkanol and the effect of the chloro and methyl group is appraised.
