BackgroundDexmedetomidine (Dex) can confer cardioprotective effects against ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. While there are no studies addressing cardioprotection of Dex via regulation of microRNAs. The purpose of this study was to examine the roles and mechanisms of microRNA in cardioprotection of dexmedetomidine.
