Upon treatment with phenylselenenyl bromide, alkenyl phenylhydrazones give rise to cyclization reactions affording, after reduction with sodium borohydride, either pyrrolidinamine and piperidinamine or tetrahydropyridazine derivatives depending on the geometrical structure of the starting substrates.
